the S.A.V.E. Bowlathon 2003
The S.A.V.E. Animal Rescue Bowlathon was a big
success.
Forty-seven
bowlers (and 20 who came to cheer them on) participated in the Bowlathon and a
really good time was had by all. Everyone came away feeling that it was so nice
to visit with our S.A.V.E. Animal Rescue friends. There was so much laughing
and a feeling of warmth and comraderie, and everyone commented on what a great
time for a great cause they had. We enjoyed pizza, and soda and an assortment
of donuts. Chocolate Dog and Cat pops, wrapped in pretty S.A.V.E. Bowlathon
2003 ribbons and made by volunteer Jilda, were given out to the bowlers as were
little doggie notepads, S.A.V.E. pencils, cute pens, computer dusters, and a
bowling certificate. The children got balloons with pictures of our adoptable
animals on them to take home too.
Thanks to everyone who participated. Our Bowling Buddies are the
absolute best and we look forward to getting together again for Bowlathon
2004!
