In memory of the homeless animals who didn't find a home.
May the broken hearts of shelter workers be mended, and may the lost
animals be remembered with love.
When you adopt a shelter pet, you save a life!

BEIJING
FROM
MAUREEN, BEIJING'S MOM (formerly Tiki)
Dear Patrice,
Thanks so much for your help. You can ask
Sharon how happy Tiki was to see his new home. We just love him! Though we are
going to change his name because at the Vet's office they put down Monkey, and
the funny thing about that is both Chris & I are born in the Chinese Year
of the Monkey. But we will call him Beijing. Capitol city in China. Because it
goes with Meiling (my other Shih Tzu) and because of his Chinese heritage. I
will call my Vet tomorrow to make an appt. to have his stitches removed. Thanks
again he was a perfect match for us. We have adopted his birthday date to be
Feb. 3rd and celebrate it every year. I will send pictures.
Thanks Again, Maureen
and in another
update We
celebrated on Saturday, Beijing is with us just one week but it feels like he
was always ours. He is feeling much better and is very happy here and loves is
new backyard. He gives me lots of kisses and what more could you ask for in
life!
