BONNIE
FROM
PATRICE, S.A.V.E.
Now
this is a nice Happy Pet Tail story...
FROM SUZANNE, BONNIE'S
MOM
Dear
Sharon,
Wow. Bonnie is
amazing. She is the sweetest dog I have ever met. She loves all of us and wants
to be with us constantly. She is there when we want to pet her and lies quietly
at our feet if we are engaged in something. My 2 year old daughter is working
on getting Bonnie to sit on command. Bonnie takes the treats so gently. She is
also great in the fenced back yard. She even does her business in the wooded
areas! We have taken her to the beach twice now and she has been fabulous off
of her leash. She gallumphs into the surf up to her neck she found a few
dog friends with whom whe enjoyed rumping. I do think she misses her dog
companions, but we are trying to spend lots of time with her to make up for her
loss. Every night after we put the kids to bed, Bonnie gets into bed with Mike
and me for her full body massage. She is not happy unless all four of our hands
are working. She is truly fantastic.
I did take her to our vet and must call today
about the heartworm test. They haven't called me so they told me to assume
negative but I'll call to be sure. They gave her a good hip check too
and said she was great. In fact, when I looked into her chart, I saw that the
vet had written, "NICE DOG!" We are giving her a light dog food and are trying
to exercise her often. The vet said that with our kids and our active
lifestyle, she should drop a few pounds easily.
Thank you so much for working with us. If you
want me to talk to anyone about Monte, I will be glad to. These dogs were
clearly loved dearly and are great, gentle pets.
Suzanne
we love happy endings!
