BUTTONS
FROM DOREEN,
BUTTONS' MOM
Hi
Patrice
We are thrilled
to have found this little guy!!! He is now called "Buttons" and it's really
terrific that we were able to adopt him. Even though this was a "rescue," I
think he will probably do more for us than we have done for him. Thanks again
to all the volunteers who work so hard for the good of abandoned
animals.
Sincerely,
Doreen
Update Just a quick note to let you know that BUTTONS MILNER III (aka Mr.
Schnauzer) is doing great!!! He is a sweet and loving little guy, and we cannot
believe that anyone would have chosen to abandon him. He is really a joy and
gives us a great deal of pleasure. He follows me around like a tail and is
joined to my hip at night in bed (he's the kind that makes it hard to turn over
at night). But we really would not change a thing...we are so grateful to
people like you who go out and rescue these abandoned animals. Thanks again for
your endeavors on behalf of the animals who cannot SAVE
themselves.
Sincerely,
Doreen & Les
UpdateYes, I did get the newsletter and was surprised my poem went in. The
dogs are fine and now have their new tags and collars, neon blue and hot pink,
of course. I have also had incredibly hectic weeks this past month and now THE
COOKING! Please let me take this time to wish you and your family A very Sweet,
Happy and Healthy New Year...L'Shana Tova. (And the dogs will get the leftover
chopped liver.)
Fondly,
Doreen
UpdateHi- so nice to hear from you...Happy New Year to you and your family.
Things have been very hectic here. The good news is that we will be
grandparents again! A little girl in May (God willing). We can't wait since we
are having such a great time with our grandson Kevin. He's one of the biggest
2-year-olds ever he's 38 inches tall and growing. Now about our terrific
Buttons and Bows. The really are 2 wonderful little souls. And, believe it or
not, they sleep together (during the day) in one doggie bed (nose to nose). I
haven't gotten a good picture yet, they are much cuter than their pictures. In
the evening they tend to take over our bed...my husband gets about 2 inches at
the end. Adopting these two was very definitely "meant to be". Hope all the
S.A.V.E. functions are well attended and we're sorry we can't
attend.
Fondly, Buttons
and Bows MOMMY.
we love happy endings!
