FROM LINDA, ROCKY'S MOM
Sharon and Patrice:
Just an update on "ROCKY". He is wonderful, very playful but wanting
to please. The kids love him and I think he truly loves the kids. The cat and
kitten situation needs some work! I think he thinks they are toys and they
think he is a pest, disturbing their naps. He is great at night, he goes in his
crate at about 8:30 and sleeps all night without any
accidents.
He had his
first VET visit today and he weighs 17.3 lbs. He received his vaccines in
addition to his Lyme vaccine and Heartworm medication.
They think he is about 3 months old and a yellow lad/shepard mix. He
will begin training classes in about two months and I think he will do well. He
already knows the sit command and really has not had to many
accidents.
He was just
meant to be, he looks like our dog we recently lost to cancer and my husband
reminded me that she also came from Queens.
Know that he is loved a lot and will have a
good home for life.
There
is a picture attached of him his very first day, it didn't take him long to
feel at home.
Thanks
again and we will try to send you pictures of his progress.
